Futurology Research Center was established in February 2022. The center focuses on the research of revolutionary, leading, and disruptive science and technology based on the future global economic development, social life, production and manufacturing, and other fields. The center widely attracts people of insight and scientific and technological innovation in different research fields, and jointly explores cutting-edge scientific theories and research methods. This center is lead by Dr. Yang Zhihe. The team is composed of undergraduates, masters, and industry staff. The discipline directions involve engineering science, management science, library and information, mathematics, computer, data science, and so forth. It encourages interest-oriented exploration of cutting-edge basic theories and original scientific methods in multidisciplinary fields.
Engaged in the fields of information policy and law research, information resources management, engineering system analysis, engineering informatization and intelligent innovation for a long time; participated in one of the major national issues in the 13th Five-Year Plan and more than 10 other horizontal and vertical topics, and compiled two textbooks; published more than 40 papers in high-level journals such as Journal of Civil Engineering and Management, China Soft Science, Journal of The China Society for Scientific and Technical Information, Journal of Library Science in China.
